Digital Works supplies backing tracks to  vocal artists and whoever wants them through a very flexible purchasing and order system - ranging from free to cheap - that will fit to your budget and requirements and the purpose for which you wish to use them (commercial release, promotional use, demo use, collaboration tracks, remixes, open-source audio...).
Feel free to drop us a mail if you happened to be interested.

General terms of use

Browse the riddims section to select the riddim(s) you would like to purchase/order, as we usually
do not build riddims upon request. However, the riddims available can be tailored and polished to meet
your needs and requirements in terms of arrangements and mixing.
Please keep in mind that you won't have exclusive rights on the riddim(s) you purchased/ordered,
meaning that other people will be able to purchase or order them as well.

What we want you is to ALWAYS give full credit to the producer of the riddim(s) on all releases
- including non-profit releases -, the mention being basically something like riddim (or beat) produced by Nephtali for Digital Works Records. Also, we would like you to send us a copy of your track or a link from which we can download it.
It doesn't have to be your entire project. A digital rendition of the track is sufficient, as long as we can see
how you did turn the riddim into an all-time classic. This also in order to push and promote your work
on our website and MySpace page as we are strong believers in music collaboration.

Non-profit use

The terms and conditions for a non-profit use (free digital release, promotional track, demo track,
free mixtape, open-source audio and other non-profit projects of all kinds) are as follows :
You will receive a copy of the raw WAV of the riddim(s) that you ordered and an encoded MP3 version
of the highest possible quality. If you wish, you can also be delivered a OGG-VORBIS as well as a FLAC rendition.
The riddim's files will be delivered digitally exclusively.

By getting a non-profit license, you are allowed to use the riddim freely and for as many songs as you wish,
the only condition being that you send us a copy of all the songs you created out of the riddim (can be a digital copy).
You have of course full rights to record, alter and mix the riddim in any way, shape or form, except selling the riddim
itself and your track that has to remain non-profit. However, if you wish to switch from non-profit to commercial use,
you must acquire a license of leasing rights (non exclusive) for each song you intend to release commercially.
For further details, see below. Moreover, you must give full credit to the producer of the riddim.

Commercial use

The terms and conditions for a commercial use (commercial release including LP/CD/EP,
mixtape, street-CD and other commercial projects of all kinds) are as follows :
By acquiring a license of leasing rights (non-exclusive), you will receive a copy of the raw WAV of the riddim(s)
that you purchased and an encoded MP3 version of the highest possible quality. If you wish, you can also be delivered
an OGG-VORBIS as well as a FLAC rendition. The riddim's files will be delivered digitally exclusively.
Price is to be discussed for the moment but should be as cheap as possible.

Leasing rights
allow you to use the riddim for ONE commercial recording or broadcast. This recording can then
be distributed at your price for up to 2,000 copies. Selling more than 2,000 copies means that you must acquire
new leasing rights. You have of course full right to record, alter and mix the riddim in any way, shape or form,
except reselling the riddim itself. You can't acquire exclusive rights of the riddim, meaning that we still own
the riddim and are able to resell it to any other party. You remain however the owner of the track you made,
meaning that you alone are able to distribute it at your price (we won't ever sell our copy of your track)
and you alone will receive a royalty from the sale of records or digital downloads. However, you must
give full credit to the producer of the riddim (i.e. Nephtali and Digital Works Records) on all releases.
Remember that terms are always to be discussed and that we are very lenient when it comes
to set terms and conditions of use that will work around your budget and requirements.
